CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation: A previously-paired Bluetooth
®
telephone may fail to auto-connect to the vehicle on engine start
up and also not manually connect for the duration of that ignition cycle. This may be caused by the
Bluetooth
®
telephone control module software.
NOTE: The customer's telephone must be listed on the Jaguar Bluetooth
®
Compatibility website
(Canada
or USA). The software update listed below does not affect the telephone compatibility and
will only improve the telephone start-up sequence, ensuring a greater chance of auto-connectivity to
the vehicle.
Action: In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to
update the Bluetooth
®
telephone control module software.
